It happened again. Text In Church was named one of Inc. Magazines Best Workplaces for 2021 – our second year in a row. We couldn’t be more excited or honored to be one of only five companies in the Kansas City area to receive this award. Inc. describes this year’s list of businesses as those “that did the most to support their employees and keep them engaged through a turbulent year.” That is why this year’s award is extra special.

It was a turbulent year and we are proud of how Text In Church showed up for not only churches, but our own people. While the physically distanced world felt more alone and disconnected than ever, we sent over 75,000,000 text messages for our customers connecting church leaders with their community. These messages helped people to feel known, noticed, and loved while physically distanced from each other.
Our known, noticed, and loved motto also applies to our employees. We have weekly all-team meetings to stay connected, celebrate successes, and engage in open communication. We also review the company’s vision, values, and objectives regularly to focus our purpose and passion to help churches thrive. Text In Church also gives employees a monthly fitness stipend to help stay healthy and house cleaning services, which comes in handy when working remotely.
In 2020, we grew our number of users by over 50%, launched our first book, Boomerang: The Power of Effective Guest Follow-Up, which quickly became an Amazon bestseller, and created a course inspired by content from the book. We were also able to grow our team by 6 people this year, which was a near 37% increase for our company. You could say blessed is an understatement.

Kansas City, MO. (May 12, 2021) – Text In Church has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2021. Hitting newsstands May 18 in the May/June 2021 issue, and as part of a prominent Inc.com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces and company culture whether teams are operating in person or remotely.
Collecting data from thousands of submissions, Inc. singled out 429 honorees this year. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, on topics including management effectiveness, perks, and fostering employee growth. The organization’s benefits were also audited to determine the company’s overall score and ranking.

In order to fulfill our purpose of helping church leaders leverage technology to build relationships and connect with their communities, we must develop a team of highly committed and talented individuals.
