The new AI Connect Card Scanning feature uses advanced image recognition and handwriting analysis to read your church’s paper connect cards, understand the layout, and accurately import contact details right into Text In Church.
This means you can go from a handwritten card in the lobby to a digital contact in your database in seconds.
No more late nights typing names, phone numbers, and email addresses from Sunday’s stack. No more worrying about misreading handwriting.

How It Works (Step-by-Step)
The process is simple and takes less than 15 seconds:
- Go to the People tab in your Text In Church account.
- Tap “Scan Paper Connect Card.”
- The camera will open — position the card within the frame and tap Capture.
- The app automatically begins analyzing handwriting and organizing the data into fields like name, email, phone, and address.
- Review the auto-filled contact form (everything will already be entered for you).
- Tap Save and the new contact is instantly created inside your People list.
That’s it! Your guest information is ready to use for follow-up, all without ever typing a word.
