Step-by-Step: How to Set Up Text to Give with Text In Church

1. Click the “Easy Button”

We’ve made this super simple. Start by clicking the Easy Button—it launches the setup for a PCO Text to Give group inside your Text In Church account.

2. Paste Your Planning Center Giving Link

Copy your existing giving link from Planning Center and paste it into the prompt. Then, click “Import Group.” Done.

3. Choose Your Keyword

The default keyword is "give", but you can change this to anything more custom like “donate”, “tithe”, or “offering.” This is the word people will text to trigger the giving response.

4. Customize the Automated Response

When someone texts your keyword, they’ll immediately receive a message like:

“Thank you so much for your generosity. Click here to give.”

This message already includes your PCO giving link, and you can edit it to match your church’s voice or add any relevant details.

5. Activate the Workflow
